Mr. Kent J. Yan
Founder and CEO
Kent J. Yan has both technology and business experiences. Mr. Yan has a
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from MIT
and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. At MIT he worked for three
famous professors in various famous research labs including Research Lab
of Electronics. He has worked as an Investment Banking Associate in Deutsche
Bank Securities. There he helped Deutsche Bank win global co-lead position
for China Telecom’s $4.3 billion equity offering. He also worked as
an Information Technology Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Ms. Jing Zhang
Partner and Director of Project Management
Jing Zhang is responsible for driving Braincess team to accomplish client
projects with quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfactions. Prior
to Braincess, Jing worked for a number of multi-national companies in
the UK, Japan and China in various managerial roles: marketing, corporate
business development, mergers and acquisitions. Jing also has a technical
background and used to work as a software project manager with Fujitsu
Ltd in Japan. Jing has a BS degree in computer science and an MBA from
London Business School. She also finished an executive program in technology
management from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Braincess has an extremely intelligent and experienced model development
team. Among them are two gold medallists from International Olympic Math
Competition, PhDs from Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT, and UCLA. We are advised
by academic and industry experts. To productize their models, we have
a team of very experienced software engineers.
